Resources -- Stock Photos

PDE Photography has a wide range of transportation stock photos available for use by the transit industry and other interested companies and organizations.   The highest-resolution images are best for brochures, reports, etc.

Stock photos include images promoting light rail or historic streetcar operations, demonstrating how such installations benefit cities and make them livable, user-friendly and environmentally responsible.  They also depict equipment and infrastructure.

Stock photos are availabe to commercial entities and non-profit groups.  Images for non-profits are usually free or for a nominal fee.   Prices of images for commercial businesses range from $25 to $80 depending on the size of image.  The images are offered royalty-free, without my copyright mark imprinted, on a one-time basis.  Althought I make these available, I retain future rights to each image.

All images are digitally-processed, high-resolution (300dpi or greater), processed www.nycsubway.orgwith Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 and/or Aperture 1.0.  Some have been processed from Kodachrome slides.   The highest resolution raw images measure approximately 41" across in the long direction (converts to 10" across on 300dpi).
The lower-resolution images are approximately 13" in the long direction (converting to 3.1" across at 300dpi).
